Winter Cosiness in Small Batches

In December, it quickly gets cold here in Belgium. We start mixing our concrete early in the year to get everything ready. The cold air makes the drying process on our wooden planks a little slower. We hand-make small cast concrete trees, stars, and angels. They look beautiful on a windowsill next to a warm mug of tea.

Giving a gift should feel right. Big shops sell the same plastic tat to everyone. Our little shop does things differently. Here you can handmade Christmas presents to find. Each small concrete item has its own unique line or small colour difference. We find that they look honest and beautiful as a result.

We also make funny bows from Lego bricks for the Christmas dinner. They immediately create atmosphere as the family sits down at the table.

We pack each box with some paper here at our own workbench. It gets nice and messy as the holiday orders pile up.
